Every clean starts with a review

Submitting a request asks us to assess your parts and prepare a quote. It does not take payment or book an unconditional service. We confirm suitability, scope, the total price, return delivery arrangements and expected turnaround before you pay.

What the service covers

Ultrasonic cleaning of suitable carburettor and small mechanical parts using our CREWORKS 15L machine and branded Sealey cleaning fluid. We specialise in pre-war AMAL. Results depend on material, condition and contamination; cleaning does not repair damage or wear. Optional stripping costs extra and is subject to assessment and agreement. Fragile or seized components can break even with reasonable care. We do not reassemble, rebuild, tune or function-test carburettors. You pay all outward and return postage, packing and any agreed carrier cover, except where the law requires us to bear a cost.

Measure and describe your parts

Give the length, width and height at the outermost points in millimetres, and tell us whether parts are assembled. Flag fragile or plated finishes, seized fittings, corrosion and known damage. Published tank dimensions are guidance only: the basket, liquid level and required clearance reduce the working space. We confirm fit before acceptance.

Before posting

1. Wait for our confirmation and agreed posting instructions.
2. Drain fuel and oil completely. Do not post flammable liquids; follow your carrier’s acceptance and packing rules.
3. Protect delicate fittings and pack individual parts securely so they cannot strike each other.
4. Include your name and order reference inside the parcel. Use tracked delivery and keep the receipt.

Questions, changes or cancellation

Contact us as soon as possible at admin@carbcleaning.co.uk with your order reference. We will confirm the position before work proceeds. Any applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
